Overview of the role:

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Analyst will have a key role in supporting the scrum team ceremonies, roadmap execution in an Agile development environment, and assisting with various stages of product delivery. As part of the Product Management team, the Product Analyst will assist with bringing a product from concept through to high-quality delivery. This work will contribute to Kazoo’s ability to deliver great products on time, guide the scrum team to iterative development, and align the product vision with the overall company objectives. 

What awesome stuff you'll do:

  • Working with Product Manager on synthesizing project research to identify key themes and outline strategy statements 

  • Assisting in the definition of functional, non-functional, and solution-specific market requirements.

  • Documenting product functionality, workflow diagrams, and preparing product information for launch teams. 

  • Reviewing various requests and bug tickets for impact and prioritization. 

  • Assisting Product Manager with writing user stories and acceptance criteria for necessary features, or enhancements. 

  • Facilitating sprint ceremonies to support roadmap and product deliverables

  • Communicating to Product Manager about any blockers, dependencies, or impacts to key projects 

  • Gathering estimates for project deliverables to understand size, cost, and length of projects 

  • Assisting with the preparation and/or delivery of presentations to share insights with internal stakeholders, including roadmaps. 

  • Maintaining a knowledge of Kazoo products, related technologies, and 3rd party integration strategies.

  • Supporting an organizational culture that fosters quality, collaboration, high morale and productivity.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Entry level/ 1+ years of Product Analyst experience or equivalent (Preferred). 
  • Passionate, quick learner with a self-starter attitude

  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and excellent attention to detail. 

  • Clear and communicative partner able to distill complex ideas to team members 

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development, writing use cases, user stories and detailed acceptance criteria. 

  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders who may have competing interests, earning trust and influence to deliver results. 

  • Ability to synthesize complex projects and ideas into actionable goals 

  • Critical thinking skills to propose solutions to problems identified in roadmap delivery

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) 

  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
