Amherst is looking for a Product Delivery Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external customers are ready to use products on day one, and new releases and launches are delivered on time and on budget. The Product Delivery Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with business stakeholders in order to maintain stakeholder satisfaction. With extensive roadmaps and a diverse range of strategic initiatives covering all aspects of the Real Estate vertical – the Product Delivery Manager needs to:
Clearly articulate and explain to stakeholders the functionality of the product being delivered.
Serve as the subject matter expert on assigned Product(s).
Use appropriate agile project management methodology to create and maintain multiple product releases across a diverse range of business areas.
Support the Product and Project Managers in defining and executing the roadmap, liaising with the business to ‘block and tackle’ obstacles, risks, and dependencies.
Own and drive the product rollout plan and implementation strategy, incorporating and coordinating necessary marketing, training, and legal considerations.
Make key decisions that impact operational initiatives. Serve as an integral part in the business process redesign and provide documentation as needed for new technology.
Maintain operational goals and key performance indicators to measure, track and continuously improve team performance and drive the actions plans to mitigate risk.
Proactively communicate and report (weekly, monthly and quarterly) the status and health of product initiatives across various levels of the organization.
Develop the strategy and systems to continually evolve the effectiveness and efficiency of Delivery Management at Amherst, both internally with the Product and Project teams, and for our customers
What you’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 3 years experience in technical project or product delivery management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Stream, Sharepoint) and PMO tools such as Jira and Asana.
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with a highly inquisitive nature – you enjoy working with both technical and business stakeholders.
Confidence at public speaking and driving effective meetings with senior stakeholders and action owners – the successful and timely launch of our products and overall business readiness is in your hands!
A self-starter who is highly collaborative and fun to work with.
Extremely organized and structured – Ability to work to tight timelines and own multiple delivery plans through expert multi-tasking, prioritizing, and planning work is an absolute must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Additional Skills and Experience: (Preferred, but Not Required)
Experience in the real estate industry/software development is a plus.
Experience with video production is helpful (‘if a picture can speak a thousand words, then a video is worth a million)
Experience with Agile Methodology and SDLC
