Bright Health’s Product team will support the definition and creation of products for Bright Health Plan, Bright Health Care and Bright Health Intelligence. The Bright Health Product Team is seeking an experienced product delivery leader to help drive and support the evolution of the business, working in lockstep with internal and external business partners. In this role, you’ll provide insights and feedback to product leaders and other internal and external partners, and also drive the launch readiness of new product features and business processes. You will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups as well as with external partners, to improve the quality of our services and efficiency and scalability of our products & operations. As the Product Operations manager at Bright Health, you’ll help the Product team support the rest of the organization as we make updates and improvements to our Product Portfolio. Your ultimate outcome is to ensure that members in various operational departments know or have access to product knowledge that they need to successfully do their job.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for understanding the scope of the product portfolio and work closely with product managers to report out on portfolio progress and achievements towards OKRs
  • Responsible for coordinating cross-functional events, trainings and other meetings

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience required
  • Five (5) years’ years’ experience at a healthcare technology company, pure technology company, or technology or strategy consulting firm required
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience owning process improvement strategies required
  • Experience coordinating multiple cross-functional teams and initiatives required, ideally through an Agile framework
  • Experience with Microsoft products, JIRA, Confluence, InVision, LucidCharts and Aha!
  • Familiarity with APIs, SFTP, & SSO integrations
  • Knowledge of BI tools and SQL - able to perform simple to moderate-level data extracts and analyses
  • Product management trainings or certifications preferred

  • Project Management: strong project management skills and excellent organizational and communication skills; understanding of typical software development processes and working knowledge of agile software development methodology; demonstrated ability to deliver large scale projects on-time with consistently successful results while working across departments and time zones; start-up mentality and comfortable innovating at a fast pace; must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure in a complex environment
  • Relationship Management: demonstrate superb decision-making skills by engaging experts while determining alternatives and quickly synthesize information, derive insights, and devise solutions; excellent team-player with the ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others, ability to maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders and constituents in a highly matrixed environment; collaborative, flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility; excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence others
  • Communication: a knack for understanding how software products work and a love for training and educating people about them; understanding of the conceptual, strategic and technical aspects of an issue and capable of grasping these concepts quickly and translating the impacts to the stakeholder; high level of proficiency crafting high impact presentations to clearly articulate solutions
  • Problem Solving: ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics to senior leaders and partners; analytical and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs; comfort with big data tools and cognitive computing tooling and methodologies and/or consumer applications; aptitude for driving methodical improvements using qualitative and quantitative data to inform solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
