Manager, Product Management
The Product Line Manager for File Access Manager is a strategic position responsible for the success of SailPoint’s products for governing access to data in the marketplace. The position requires strong marketing and communications skills, as well as a technical understanding of enterprise software, software-as-a-service, customer IT environments, and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies. The Product Line Manager must be comfortable working closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and professional services, as well as with prospects, customers, and partners and leading a team of product managers.
Responsibilities:
Manage customer feedback and monitor deployment success, driving product innovation to improve the speed and scale of deployments.
Lead the team in defining market-driven product requirements based on customer feedback and usage data.
Lead the team in developing, prioritizing and managing the product backlog.
Provide product support for sales opportunities, including on-site customer visits when needed.
Participate in user experience testing and product feedback sessions to capture key feedback that feeds product development
Generate content to support collateral, presentations/scripts, and FAQs that communicate the value proposition
Act as product spokesperson for SailPoint at tradeshows, industry events, and conferences
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in product management
Experienced in leading a team of senior and junior product managers.
Can clearly demonstrate a past in building a software product focused in B2B enterprise space
Can clearly demonstrate a past in delivering SaaS products
Experience delivering cybersecurity software a plus
Demonstrated success in working with engineering and user experience teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful software products.
Experience collaborating with product marketing and marketing to provide content and campaign support.
Working experience with governing data would be a huge asset
Experience delivering support to field sales organizations.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
BA/BS in business or technical field required.
