ClearDATA is seeking a Product Line Manager to oversee market problem definition, product strategy, sales enablement, and financial performance for our flagship product line. The Product Line Manager will partner with Technical Product Managers, Engineering Directors, and development teams and will own ultimate accountability for product growth and success. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with competitive analysis, pricing and financial modeling, persona development, and full lifecycle product management.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Technical Product Managers, Engineering Directors, Product Marketing Managers, development teams, and other cross-functional teams to deliver an amazing customer experience
  • Identify relevant market problems and quantify demand and opportunity
  • Participate in win/loss analysis with sellers and factor outcomes into product strategy
  • Find opportunities to conduct loss analysis interviews with lost leads to inform product strategy and competitive intelligence
  • Identify and clearly position ClearDATA’s distinctive competencies as relates to your products
  • Serve as the authority on the competitive landscape and product positioning
  • Define market segment opportunities and model overall addressable market for your product; quantify potential opportunity size for early demand signals to prioritize roadmap
  • End to end product portfolio management
  • Develop near term (tactical) and long-term (strategic) roadmaps for your product based on customer team input and market validation
  • Build business plans and project charters for major feature iterations
  • Establish a market-validated pricing strategy including discounting guidance for sellers
  • Develop financial models to forecast product performance in partnership with the finance team
  • Report regularly on product profitability and identify opportunities to drive growth and margin improvements
  • Establish and evolve product positioning based on market input
  • Research and develop buyer and user personas
  • Conduct analysis to determine build v. buy v. partner v. integrate decisions to address product feature gaps
  • Develop solutions highlighting key use cases for your product that resonate with targeted buyers
  • Lead pipeline generation activities with key technology partners drive sell-with and sell-through opportunities
  • Establish strategic contacts within key technology partner organizations to drive partnership value and product visibility within partner organization
  • Participate in customer retention process to understand potential product gaps that put existing customers at risk of churn
  • Report regularly on overall product health and growth activity impact
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution and drive key product roadmap successes
  • Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Understand ClearDATA’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
  • Other duties as needed

 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience
  • Experience working at a technology / SaaS company required
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services and other cloud platform services
  • Superb strategic thinking skills and business acumen
  • Experiencing launching a SaaS/subscription based product
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Positive, “can do” attitude
  • Team player mindset and ability to see and think beyond your own job description

 

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience building products that must adhere to privacy and security frameworks like HIPAA, HITRUST, GxP, and GDPR
  • Deep understanding of cloud adoption trends and market conditions in different healthcare market segments
  • Prior certifications and practical experience implementing the Pragmatic Marketing Framework
  • Experience establishing a cloud practice within a healthcare or life science organization
  • Experience operating within the Amazon Web Services partner ecosystem
