About Us
imaware™️'s mission is to change the world of healthcare and at-home testing. There's never been a more important time to help empower people to take control of and understand their health - all while pushing the boundaries of what 'modern healthcare' should really look like. We're looking for people who will help us think bigger, challenge the status quo, and add to a collaborative mindset of continuous learning. We are obsessed with creating a seamless and simple experience to make sure that our patients are well cared for, no matter where our products meet them in their journey. imaware™️ team members all have a shared passion for answering tough questions in the pursuit of helping our customers, and one another.

Our team has adapted to a hybrid work environment, and works collaboratively both in our Austin office and from home. Despite many of our team members being in different locations and time zones, we're putting in the effort to make sure that our people are connected, cared for, and supported so we can all participate in building a culture that stems from a shared purpose.

About the Role
With more products comes more responsibility, and our Product team is the difference-maker that is making imaware™ the best and most reliable at-home testing solution! As we continue to build out our capabilities to better serve our patients, our partners, and even our internal teams, we need someone who can help bridge the gap between our customers’ needs, our business considerations, and our Engineering team’s capability to implement. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Management Associate will work closely with consumer and business customers to synthesize feedback, think critically on feature requests, and communicate findings across teams to inform the direction of key products. This is an opportunity to play a critical role innovating and thinking creatively in the healthcare space to help launch new products and learn how all the various pieces in a complicated market and tech product come together in an Agile, startup environment. Here are just some of the things we can’t wait for you to accomplish:

  • Participate in and meaningfully contribute to customer research activities (i.e. UX research, user data analysis, etc.), creating a scalable system for compiling historic data, distill key findings, and disseminate necessary information across teams
  • Develop a strong grasp of Agile/Scrum/Kanban processes, and suggest continued improvements for how teams can best work together
  • Help run important Product/Engineering team meetings to keep the ball rolling on key initiatives, creating visibility on important timelines to internal stakeholders
  • Take ownership of key product initiatives and improvements with the intent to eventually take over a particular customer-facing or internally-facing product line

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and/or 6-12+ months of professional/internship experience, ideally in a technically-focused position (e.g. Tech Support/Analysis) or as a mediator between customers, the business, key stakeholders, etc.
  • Very comfortable with data and performing analyses, synthesizing key insights and communicating them to appropriate stakeholders
  • Coachable and flexible! You can act positively on feedback and learn quickly in an ever-changing environment of competing priorities
  • Collaborative nature to get buy-in from various teams, prioritizing needs effectively, and able to act decisively based on data and applicable feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably Austin-based or open to relocation, but will consider remote on a case-by-case basis
  • Startup experience, and/or work in the health, healthcare, or wellness industries is highly preferred
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, and/or some technical certifications or coursework (e.g. programming, Certified ScrumMaster, Agile/Scrum-specific)

Benefits and Perks

  • Partially covered medical benefits
  • Fully covered dental, vision, life, short and long term disability
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Flexible work environment
  • 401K
  • 20 days of PTO
  • $75 continuing education stipend per quarter
  • Free imaware™ tests
  • Virtual and in-person team building activities/social events
