Product Manager, Cart & Checkout
Saatva is looking for a self-motivated product manager that will be responsible for fueling digital growth within our commerce ecosystem. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and design leaders with specific focus on the cart, checkout and post-purchase experience. You will own the cart and checkout product vision, roadmap and champion the needs of customers with a focus on both customer and business value. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, results-oriented, and an excellent communicator. This individual should have a deep understanding of e-commerce and a passion to improve the consumer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: You own the vision, strategy and roadmap for our Cart & Checkout experience.
- Must be able to distill the “fire hose” of insights, data, and requests into an actionable roadmap inclusive of customer and business partners needs to build both incremental and innovative experiences for your customers.
- Identify, refine, and document specifications and lead multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, design, project management, etc.) to deliver features to our consumers.
- Optimize product features through A/B testing. Analyze product data and make iterative product changes based on consumer feedback.
- Clear transparent communication about progress, priorities and decision making.
- Ability to set clear direction for teams, collaborate with peers, and motivate them to achieve goals that are part of the broader product vision and build consensus amongst the team, helping to reach decisions that stick.
- Be self directed in execution and require limited supervision in defining product roadmap and little to no oversight in driving execution. You take an active role in defining the product direction relative to the overall product strategy and overarching company goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in direct to consumer Product Management (eCommerce experience preferred)
- Experienced in driving conversion rate optimization through A/b testing
- Deep understanding of the bottom funnel and how to limit cart abandonment
- Experience working with User Experience (UX) teams to create prototypes through the wireframes and visual designs
- Managing the priority of payment types offered (financing, Apple Pay, GPay, PayPal etc.)
- Prior experience driving Life Time Value and customer loyalty
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field a plus
- Communicates information in a concise and organized fashion; strong written communication skills
- Great relationship building skills; collaborative
- Analytically-minded, detail-oriented and curious
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Tableau
