What you'll do...
As the Product Manager for Device Authentication, you will be responsible for enabling Duo Security customers to secure and simplify user authentication on Windows, Apple and Google platforms. You will take ownership of critical local endpoint integrations, including Microsoft integrations like Windows, OWA, and ADFS, which are major integrations for Duo customers in terms of installation and unique users. You'll bring institutional knowledge of how Microsoft, Apple and Google endpoint technologies work and new opportunities for us to forge ahead and grow our customer base. In this role, you will partner with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and senior management to execute on your vision.
In this role, you will empathize with enterprise organizations that must deploy strong authentication methods to a variety of users: ranging from high-trust critical devops engineers and executives to low-trust transient staff and contractors. Your products must meet the diverse needs of organizations big and small to scale up and prevent breach.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Create a product vision and roadmap for Duo's device authentication capabilities
- Collaborate with developers, support and product managers to understand problems, capture new ideas and systematically prioritize the most important projects based on business needs.
- Interview customers to understand the device authentication problems that they have and deeply understand the context of their use case.
- Build and maintain a prioritization framework for device authentication related capabilities based on measurable inputs and objective data.
- Produce concise business case documents, presentations and product requirements documents (PRD) that describes the cost, benefit and tradeoffs to enable effective decision making.
- Own cross-functional interactions for your area of the product including Sales, Customer Success and Support.
Product Managers play a highly visible role in the company and are critical to the development and execution of the product strategy. We are responsible for delivering the best experience for our users. As the product expert, you must excel at prioritization, collaboration, and communication, while being accountable for scalability, availability and quality.
Skills you have...
- 2+ years of product management experience working directly with engineering teams to plan, develop and deliver multi-tenant SaaS software products
- Real world experience developing and launching products for enterprise markets
- Relevant experience in IT security and an understanding of the problems IT Administrators face, either by direct work experience or by building products that IT Administrators use.
- Hands-on knowledge of how enterprises deploy, manage, and secure Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, ADFS, Azure AD, OWA, MacOS, and ChromeOS
- Track record of defining product success metrics and prioritizing feature development
- Ability to use data to drive decision making while managing requests from different groups of stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate positioning and technology to technical, sales and executive audiences
