The Vrbo Marketplace Design team sits at the intersection of our marketplace participants - travelers and partners (property owners/managers). We are searching for a Product Manager to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, analysts, designers and marketers to craft products and build end-to-end capabilities that translate marketplace signals into opportunities participants can action to improve their performance. These opportunities enable travelers to find, plan and enjoy their ideal vacation rental experience and help partners manage their properties simply and efficiently based on traveler expectations, ultimately improving our overall marketplace health.

With millions of homes and travelers from around the world, we need the ability to identify the most important action any participant can take, and what actions they are most likely to take, ensuring we are making recommendations that are both correct and actionable. You will join a team of creative problem solvers who are committed to solving this complex problem and have fun while doing it.

What You'll Do:

As part of the product management team, you will:

  • Serve as product expert combining industry analysis, end-user feedback, and development knowledge to establish a product vision and roadmap 

  • Cultivate effective engineering partnerships to deliver world-class solutions, serving as the product owner in an agile environment

  • Partner with teams from across Expedia Group, through open communication, to ensure we are building the next-best-capability to power our coaching engine

  • Partner with traveler and homeowner facing organizations across Expedia Group to build programs and tests that lead to repeat traveler bookings and partner and property listing retention

  • Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science teams to develop automated impact reporting and customer-facing feedback loops 

  • Regular cross-business progress read-outs and presentations

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of product management experience (eCommerce experience preferred) leading definition, delivery, and validation of product or program capabilities across a large organization

  • 3+ years owning a product roadmap which requires coordination across multiple teams (eg. engineering, design, analytics, customer support, sales, legal and marketing)

  • 2+ years experience operating in an agile development environment: defining and prioritizing work for your product portfolio

  • Previous experience managing long-lead product adoption from inception through launch and improvement

  • An analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to build hypotheses and run user experiments and tests

  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-subject matter experts

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills including creation and delivery of effective presentations

  • Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree

  • May travel up to 10% including international travel
