Procore is looking for a Product Manager - Product Data Platform to drive strategic decisions that improve our customer’s ability to transform their business with data. The Product Data Platform provides the data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, governance, and data sets that power our reporting and analytics products, search, machine learning development, and more. This position will report to the Director of Product Management - Data and can work remotely from a U.S. location or in our Carpinteria, CA, New York, NY, or Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Become an expert in Procore’s datasets and customer data needs

• Partner with Engineering and UX to build strategies for data growth and effective data-quality input strategies, enabling better reporting, analytics, and the development of accurate and effective machine learning models 

• Partner with Business Development, Sales, Product leaders, and Product Marketing to identify opportunities for data monetization across all Procore stakeholders. 

• Partner with Professional Services, Marketing, Customers Success, and other stakeholders to define and articulate Procore’s data standards to help customers accelerate their data journey

• Manage key business metrics with an outcome-based approach

What we're looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in a construction-related role and having a thorough understanding of typical construction processes such as RFIs, submittals, QA/QC, safety management, change orders, invoice management, etc.

• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role with strong problem-solving skills and strong SQL knowledge

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or Product Marketing Manager in a SaaS or consulting business

• Ability to gather cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks and user stories

• Ability to leverage excellent verbal and written skills to present strong data-driven storylines and content to both general and senior audiences

• Demonstrated experience understanding customer needs and independently translating them into product requirements.

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI/Data Visualization tool
