Role summary:

We are keenly focused on innovating our suite of lab developed tests and establishing ourselves as leaders in the rapid testing space. This role is key to both efforts and, therefore, at the center of our mission and our growth. We are looking for a passionate product manager to contribute to our test product portfolio strategy and to flawlessly execute on our test roadmap as we bring new tests to market and improve our existing offerings. You will leverage your excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and operational skills along the way. You will work cross-functionally with our medical affairs, marketing, new business, engineering, operations, and customer experience teams to launch new lab developed (at-home collection) tests and rapid (at-home resulting) tests and to improve the collection experience for test-takers. This role will report to the Chief Product Officer.

The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager in the healthcare space, having managed product launch processes for physical products (or hardware) requiring substantial cross-functional coordination. They have influenced product and product portfolio decisions and love fixing a broken process. They have a history of orchestrating flawless product launches and have learned from those that were less-than-perfect. They are an independent thinker with a strong work ethic, outstanding follow-through, and some background in healthcare. What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Chief Product Officer and marketing, clinical science, and medical affairs teams to constantly update the list of potential test that our internal teams believe will benefit our consumer and enterprise customers
  • Execute an opportunity assessment framework, in partnership with clinical science, medical affairs, and marketing teams, to assess each potential test product and to prioritize it among other prospective SKUs
  • Recommend additions and changes to the test roadmap consistent with the overall objectives of the organization, inclusive of new test introductions, clinical improvements, and collection experience enhancements
  • Define, own, and lead the new product commercialization process to launch new products. Partner with the marketing, product, engineering, and customer experience teams for process execution
  • Partner with the customer experience team to become the internal expert on all facets of the test-taker collection experience across all SKUs, building a roadmap of digital, sample collection, and kit enhancements to position our test-takers and lab partners for success
  • Be an expert on the competitive landscape for at-home and lab developed tests to inform portfolio and roadmap priorities & opportunities
  • Partner with the New Business team to evaluate device partners for inorganic opportunities to bring rapid and lab-resulted tests to market.
  • Define the new product commercialization process for rapid test products in partnership with the clinical science, digital product, marketing, and engineering teams; lead the execution of the process to introduce new rapid tests to market
  • Manage cross-functional primary and secondary research and analysis efforts to support recommendation exercises as needed for the development of the test roadmap

Who You Are:

  • BA/BS required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of product or product portfolio management experience for physical products in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and deliver in a high-growth environment, to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives, and to flex between highly strategic thought partnership and effective management of every small delta of hugely important initiatives
  • Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and scaling products
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive progress and thrive despite ambiguity
  • Clinical testing and/or medical device experience is strongly preferred
  • Passionate about empowering individuals along their health journey
