ProjectManager is seeking a critical member of the Product team responsible for driving a user-centric product strategy for our two SaaS project management software applications. This role is key to delivering user stories and user interactions that drive conversion & adoption rates for new customers, while reducing churn rates with existing customers. You will work directly with the VP of Product to define the roadmap and specifications for new features and improvements across both platforms, as well as integrations and mobile applications. Your work will delight users and align with the company’s overall business plan. This role is based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on product strategy and roadmap with the VP of Product and CEO
• Understand the project management software market and user requirements in-depth
• Interpret product & user analytics and feed back into the product roadmap
• Gather customer feedback to complete the feedback loop
• Lead user research and competitive research within target markets and industry segments
• Define clear use cases for all of our primary product features
• Write product specs and documentation, for dev handoffs and Jira ticketing
• Scope & prioritize each release, so it’s clear which specific features will be included
• Work with designers to ensure that designs are aligned with modern UX standards
• Perform regular user testing, to ensure that what we’re building is intuitive and fit for purpose

Minimum Qualifications

• BA in creative or technical field
• Experience developing/launching Cloud, SaaS or enterprise products/technologies
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with writing product documentation and specifications
• Experience creating wireframes and/or interactive prototypes
• Experience creating strategic product roadmap(s) and working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product analytics and product engagement software
• Experience with user interviews & customer feedback surveys
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of JS/CSS/HTML
• Knowledge of Browserstack, or similar testing tools
