Team: As a member of the product organization team, the Product Manager takes in requirements from the multiple viewpoints of viability (business needs), feasibility (tech needs), and usability (user needs) to create the future of digital community interaction that will help our design and engineering teams bring new features to life.

Role Description:

As the Product Manager, you will ensure that the product delivers on the needs of our users and larger business objectives. In this role, you will articulate what success looks like and orchestrate teams to deliver on the metrics and goals set for the organization. You will also be working closely with our development team and 3rd party service providers to ensure data visibility and reporting to accurately measure efficacy of our programs.

The product manager drives the requirements gathering process that accurately reflects business needs which includes: risk and impact analyses, “as is” and “to be” process documentation, agnostic of a specific technical solution. You may also contribute to solution designs, testing plans, and execution, as well as the training, troubleshooting, and project management aspects of addressing business and operational needs. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, analyze, and translate user, business, and marketing requirements into functional requirements, supporting documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Drive feature assessment, requirements gathering, and documentation

  • Develop and own user stories and work with project management to define acceptance criteria that represents the requirements provided by the business and the design delivered by UX

  • Prioritize ruthlessly for the scrum team to ensure focus on the highest business value items

  • Balance  new features, improvements, and bug fixes to ensure a high velocity and a stable product

  • Analyze the market and develop competitive analysis as needed

  • Creating a shared brain across larger teams to empower independent decision making.

  • Troubleshooting, facilitating issue resolution, and suggesting tech-functional workarounds

  • Stakeholder Analysis identifying the stakeholders who will be impacted by the change and understand their influence and authority levels

  • Utilizing various modeling techniques such as process modeling, data modeling, system modeling

  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience - You have 4+ years of Product Management experience and a demonstrated track record of results and possess a strong understanding of end-to-end product workflows.

  • Communication - You are a strong communicator, that excels in all forms of verbal and written communication to clients and prospects

  • Leadership - You have a proven track record of cross-functional leadership to deliver on the various business needs across the entire organization.

  • Activation - You have a deep understanding of how to weigh, examine and communicate the costs and benefits of features development as it relates to users and business goals; 

  • Operations - You can identify in-platform optimization needs and implement changes to level set performance; monitor and manage digital platform spend and performance pacing; create and perform campaign check-ins and ensure that all required campaigns are live/paused/ended; follow required operations department processes.

  • Performance - You work with Product to define KPIs and objectives for the brand, product, and services; work with engineering’s data analytics team to ensure tagging is in place to track identified objectives, KPIs, and goals; create and establish reporting processes.
