We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst who will build out the analytics and reporting infrastructure in our US region to optimise Babylon’s suite of products during a transformative, high growth period. This is not your typical analyst role. You will deliver dashboards, models, reports, deep dives and other analytical products on tight timelines as the business scales while developing a deep understanding of Babylon’s products and operations in the Americas. As a senior member of the team, you will: mentor junior analysts, fully own stakeholder relationships and areas of expertise, and work intimately with product, technical and regional operations teams to scale our digital healthcare service to support millions of patients in the US.

What will you do?

  • Help build and define the reporting and insights processes for our product teams focussed on the clinical experience
  • Create the optimal reporting structure by working closely with product leads
  • Be the Product Analytics POC for your key areas of ownership; develop a strong understanding of Babylon’s product and operations globally, and maintain solid stakeholder relationships to define appropriate metrics and critical success factors
  • Be an in-house expert on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Tableau: mentor junior analysts in delivering essential reporting products and tools and set the standards for best-in-class analytical products
  • Build clear and effective feedback loops to help define the strategy for our product during its transformative stage
  • Communicate insights and metrics to senior stakeholders and business partners regularly
  • Be the analytical powerhouse behind core analytical projects (from origination to implementation) and create the required models and analysis to drive initiatives that are focused on: building a product that users love
  • Delivering seamless experiences for patients and clinical professionals
  • Testing the efficacy of new product releases and features
  • Guiding product strategy and prioritisation for future builds
  • Cost and revenue optimisation for Babylon’s global operations
  • Developing technology that drives efficiency for our clinical services for millions of patients across the globe
  • Creating solutions that can be easily deployed in multiple markets across the globe
  • Expanding our available offerings and services
  • Analyse and identify existing priority processes that need transforming or improvement and then implement your findings
  • Build the foundational processes that will enable us to scale in the Americas and globally and continually optimise them for efficiency and experience
  • Be the leading force behind the implementation of these findings have these findings live in our product stack
  • Help build the foundational data infrastructure and analytics platform to assist data-driven teams within operations and across the company
  • Help drive a culture of strong analytics and data-driven thinking across the operations divisions
  • Implement structure, documentation and process in everything that you do, to catalyse the development of our analytics community
  • Mentor and train junior analysts in best-in-class practices and technical skills
  • Work with development engineers and the Business Intelligence Team to help build a data platform that is optimised for its end users.

Who fits the role?

  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in a product analytics role - experience working as an analyst in other roles will also be considered

  • Technical requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Tableau or other visualisation tools to build reporting dashboards and analyse data
  • Minimum 3 years of business experience using SQL
  • Experience building models and dashboards to tight timelines and embedding this data into operations or product team decision making to inform real-time business decisions
  • Previous experience working on short turn-around, analytical problems
  • Strong statistical understanding
  • You need to want to make a change now – this is less about creating an incredible strategy that will be implemented over the next 5 years, and more about processes that can change the business in the next 6 months
  • Self- starter that is comfortable owning their outputs and can drive new initiatives and raise the bar within their areas of expertise
  • We are looking for people with a strong work ethic who are independent problem solvers
  • Ability to take the initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
  • Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a non-hierarchical manner across multiple teams

Nice to have:

  • Numerical degree: Maths, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Finance or related subjects
  • Fundamentals in Python and R
  • Experience working in a startup culture

We look forward to hearing from you!
