We mix user centric design with business savvy and work with an exceptional team of designers, engineers, and business partners, focusing on two key user segments:

  • Consumers : a compelling digital experience that captures everything inspiring about the products we sell and services we offer in a convenient, affordable, and simplified fashion that is nothing short of delightful.
  • H-E-B Partners : we arm H-E-B Partners across the company with world class business applications and tools to thrive in their jobs so together we can ensure that the customer experience is top notch online, in-store, or anywhere else.


What is the opportunity?
You're someone who works seamlessly with engineers, designers, and business partners alike; you can ask savvy questions paired with various data points to reach powerful product conclusions. As a Senior Product Manager, you understand and communicate the product vision, how it fits into the larger roadmap, and what's required to bring performant and scalable applications to life.
More specifically, you will focus on driving a compelling customer account experience for our H-E-B digital customers. You will develop and implement the roadmap for the My H-E-B app customer account including default contact info, lifestyle preferences and interests, order history, refunds and more. You will interface heavily with marketing and merchandising teams ensuring they have the customer info they need to deliver the best experiences in the domains they lead.

  • Own all aspects of product management in your realm - vision, strategy, roadmap, prototypes, user testing, development, optimization, business outcomes, etc.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the market and technology landscape, how it's evolving, the implications for our end users, and how all that should shape where we go.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify new end user / business problems that could be solved by the team; build the case for new features and gain approval from stakeholders.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle and delivery; work with designers, engineers and architects to produce a groomed, prioritized backlog that aligns the work to business goals.
  • Be an exceptional communicator, accountable for telling a memorable, sticky story about the product to key stakeholders.
  • Make informed trade-offs to deliver solutions to market at a rapid pace.

  • Be a student of design thinking and have an appetite for learning the art of intervention design.
  • Identify critical risks and dependencies; anticipates / resolves critical team issues with little escalation.

What is your background?

  • Proven track record (5+ years of experience) in digital product management
  • Experience in mobile, web, or backend product development
  • Extra points for experience in ecommerce product development
  • Even more points for deep mobile experience, both web and native
