CLEAR is actively seeking a Product visionary who has a proven track record of delivering products at scale for Partners and Developers. In this role, you will inspire and lead the Product teams that are responsible for all aspects of the Developers and Partners experience, including the tools, Developer Portal, and any way that our partners find and integrate with CLEAR’s platform.

You will design and execute a strategy to drive platform adoption and growth, allowing millions of CLEAR members to safely and securely use their trusted identity across payments, age verification, access control and more. Your role is to understand how to gather insights, find opportunities, and help prioritize work on our suite of developer tools in a way that optimizes the overall developer experience. 

What You Will Do

• Champion developers' priorities and shepherd developer-focused features from inception to implementation, working towards a fully self-service model for onboarding and support, including developer dashboards, tooling, and technical documentation.
• Convey your vision through bold product roadmaps, working closely with product leaders and software engineers, and participate in all levels of team planning.
• Create and maintain concrete, quantitative, and descriptive profiles of customers and their needs. These include mobile developers, web developers, core service backend developers, partner managers, and more.
• Own the developer sandbox, including onboarding process and SLAs, working across Product and Engineering teams to ensure a seamless partner development process at scale.
• Drive the standardization of partner-facing APIs and products, in partnership with Principal Engineers, to ensure consistency both across CLEAR’s product offerings and industry standards.
• Evangelize the CLEAR platform across developer communities.

Who You Are

• 5+ years product management experience with a track record of successfully delivering products or services.
• Extensive knowledge of existing developer tools/architectural components and their tradeoffs.
• API / Platform experience – deep technical background in software engineering and infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of developer needs and the ability to build products that are developer and partner friendly.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You have created and delivered engaging technical presentations and are comfortable with (and enjoy) public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

• API / Platform experience – deep technical background in software engineering and infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of identity and authentication standards (e.g. OAuth / OIDC / SAML / IAL / AAL).
• Demonstrated passion for developer productivity analytics and developer experience.
