Rapid7 is building a new way to secure cloud based web apps and API services. We’re looking for a phenomenal product leader to own this product. As the product manager for web application protection, you’ll be at the center of our product strategy, go to market and technology execution. This is a unique chance to build something new within the framework of a large and growing public company.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of Rapid7’s application monitoring and protection product
• Lead strategy to grow revenue and market share of application protection product
• Partner closely with product marketing to align product roadmap with go to market strategy
• Provide detailed product requirements and user stories on all aspects of the product
• Specific focus on creating a product that educates and guides customers as they expand their application security programs
• Develop technical marketing content to aid in demand generation and sales support
• Partner with sales to support strategic opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a product manager of an enterprise software product
• Knowledge of the security industry, ideally with specific experience in application security or web application firewalls
• Strong technical background with prior hands on technical experience in IT, security, sales engineering or software engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills for business and technical audiences
