Senior Product Manager
ABOUT THIS POSITION
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to help contribute to the continued success of our Real Estate business. Aceable is the market leader in Driver Education and has experienced rapid growth since launching Real Estate Education in 2017.
As a whole Aceable’s mission is to empower hundreds of millions of people with the high-stakes education they need to accomplish their life goals, in Driver Education, Real Estate, and beyond.
The person in this role will be successful if they are able to directly contribute, manage, and collaborate with a team that accomplishes the following:
- Grow our Real Estate vertical 30+% year over year with a focus on increasing word-of-mouth growth
- Determine the winning product-market fit strategy for Real Estate Continuing Education
- Extend the relationship with our students and business partners by developing new products, services, and offerings that increases the overall lifetime value (LTV) of our customers
This person will report to the Senior Director of Product.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
You are joining a product management team that lives our core values, is ego-free and team first, obsesses about our users and asking why, loves to nerd out on all things product, and enjoys a good ramen.
The product management team is co-matrixed and currently broken out into three core areas of responsibility: Verticals (ex: Driving, Real Estate, etc), Student Experience Platform, Ecommerce Platform.
We also have an Associate Product Manager, currently focused on Real Estate, who is extremely talented, humble, and eager to learn from you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ideate, collaborate, and evangelize the Real Estate product vision and strategy
- Work with Marketing and Business Development to construct and articulate business cases for new course & product initiatives (B2C + B2B) in order to communicate priority, importance, and impact to stakeholders
- Work with Design and Learning Experience teams to perform the qualitative and quantitative user research needed to deeply understand and identify students needs
- Work with our Marketing and Business Development teams to perform the necessary research needed to understand the market dynamics in Real Estate (B2C + B2B)
- Translate these market dynamics and student needs into a comprehensive roadmap
- Work with the Student Experience and ECOMM platform teams across the product development lifecycle to deliver and execute on product roadmap
- Measure and report on key business, user and general product health metrics related to key initiatives (i.e. What did we do? What did we learn about it’s impact on our business and users? How does it inform what’s next?)
- Work with Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to ensure that our products meet their P&L expectations and put these in the context of the market TAM, our market share, and that of our competitors
- In partnership with Product Marketing, lead the Real Estate vertical quarterly and yearly planning process
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a manner that aligns with our company values
- 5+ years of product management experience developing and releasing products in a competitive market required
- Demonstrated ability to craft product strategies based on the needs of customers and partners
- Ability to use market research and data to make disciplined, yet agile, product and strategic decisions
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team to define the team’s strategy, operational plan, and detailed roadmap
- Superb analytical skills; ability to translate complex business issues into clear goals and measure against those goals
- Experience managing multiple projects from concept to delivery while meeting schedules and budget
- Experience working directly with Design and Engineering teams in an agile environment to see product roadmaps implemented and adjusted over time
- Demonstrated success with agile planning and execution as well project management
- Ability to effectively influence and inspire others, particularly in cross-functional teams, and translate complex technical information to inform and get actionable feedback on from business stakeholders
- Experience with B2C products a plus
