WPE is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Shared Services Team! As a Senior PM, you will own the infrastructure, processes, and tooling that empowers our customer-facing teams to rapidly deliver high quality services and experiences to our customers. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Finance, Support and Customer Success teams.

You’ll be responsible for leading tooling and services within the product portfolio, and will deliver customer-focused software products that improve efficiency, support critical business operations, and enable our company to grow.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Identify and prioritise client and end-user challenges, needs, expectations, and desires.

  • Develop, communicate, promote, and continuously refine a product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals, objectives, and market needs.

  • Define the success metrics for your products and demonstrate user engagement, behavior change, and value of your product to clients and internal partners

  • Supervise and actively lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring the user stories are appropriately defined and executed, under both an Agile and Lean process, delivering on-target solutions and expediting value.

  • Participate in trade-off decisions between product scope, cost/resources, and timing, and be able to execute authoritative decision-making when required.

  • Ensure requirements are built and maintain a prioritised backlog.

  • Work with design, architecture, and other partner teams to validate the appropriateness of proposed solutions.

  • Lead testing, training, and release planning to ensure delivery of a high-quality product that meets the operational readiness success criteria for the broader organisation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in a field with a strong emphasis on technology (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics, and/or Business).

  • 5+ years of experience in a product management role. 

  • Deep understanding of software development platforms, web platforms, databases, and/or software-defined infrastructure.

  • Specialist in developing business strategy - understanding the balance between customer needs and the business opportunity.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • History of building successful products for Fortune 1000 companies

  • Validated results of influencing partners in a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization.

  • Ability to communicate, pitch, and evangelize product features, technical designs, and product strategy to both a technical and non-technical audience with ease

  • Build and execute the strategy for developer tools including SDKs, cloud environments, monitoring, technical documentation, and enablement

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in software implementation lifecycle (Agile, Iterative, and Incremental, etc.)

  • High attention to detail and experience leading multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with OKRs. Meticulous tracking, measuring, and learning from work completed, and its related impact. 

  • History of teamwork and a readiness to roll up one's sleeves to push things over the finish line!
