We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager that thrives at the intersection of data, design, and technology. You will lead our multi-disciplinary teams through the entire product lifecycle — from conception through release — building products that drive business goals and address customer needs. Our ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven, systems-thinking leader with strategic and hands-on experience in a high-growth organization.

On the Policy Ops team, you’ll be responsible for driving the roadmap for our policy administration and billing platform. You’ll work closely with your engineering and design leads to build scalable systems, internal tooling for policy administration, and new payment features that meet the needs of the business and enable Bestow to serve our policyholders better. You’ll partner with stakeholders from the insurance operations and finance departments to understand the needs of the business.

What you will do:

Ideation

Bestow is uniquely positioned to create unique, innovative product ideas. Own, manage and prioritize this creative process by collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders across the business. Your squad could be building our next breakthrough.

Product Strategy

You will be responsible for creating a vision and strategy for your team’s product. You’ll do this by working closely with your design lead to understanding customer pain points and your business stakeholders to determine the needs of the business. You will be responsible for communicating this vision and strategy to your team and the company as a whole. Ensuring alignment across the organization is critical to success at Bestow. 

Feature and Opportunity Prioritization

You will prioritize features and opportunities by making data-informed hypotheses to their expected value compared to expected development cost. It will require making difficult trade-off decisions to make a significant impact on our customers and the business.

Product Releases

You will work with the Engineering Manager and Technical Project Manager to plan what the team will deliver and the timeline for that delivery. It will require coordination with various stakeholders such as Customer Service, Compliance, Growth, Insurance Operations, and Finance.

About You

• 4+ years in a product management role (experience in payment processing is a plus)
• You have excellent communication skills through verbal, written, and visual mediums.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with different personality types and roles (e.g., engineering, insurance, customer service, customers)
• Ability to lead cross-functionally through influence rather than authority
• A vision for how technical systems lead to business and customer value
• Comprehensive understanding of usability and interaction design and assessing user needs
• A track record of delivering high-quality projects on time
• Experience writing software functional requirements in an agile environment
