As the founding Senior Technical Program Manager at Mothership, you’ll work closely with the Engineering Team. You will bring to life the infrastructure that helps our Carriers and Customers ship with Mothership and your work will be pivotal to shaping the future of freight.

What you'll get to do

• Understand internal and external customer needs and utilize the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges
• Seek relevant information to ensure your own understanding of complex information
• Independently execute tasks and/or provide data to support the implementation of holistic solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process, and technology
• Help track issues and mitigation plans for risk management, and lead technical, unambiguous projects
• Assist subject matter specialists to help define requirements, as needed
• Contribute to the project schedule, maintain program/project documentation and contribute to corresponding meetings, as needed
• Carry out stages of the product development lifecycle, bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance
• Identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within your own work area
• Apply the software development lifecycle and various agile engineering practices that can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management at a product-driven enterprise tech company or consumer tech company
• A deep understanding of Agile and Scrum practices, the product development process, and best project management practices
• Ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, modern solutions
• Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and tackle things hands-on
• Ability to succeed with minimal guidance
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to thrive under ambiguous circumstances
• Strong accountability, work ethic, and sense of urgency
• Excellent communication and people skills
