Solution Sales Specialist
Q2 is seeking a Solution Sales Specialist who will sell complex technical Q2 or 3rd party software products, Treasury Management or Commercial Banking solutions and/or services that are deemed strategic in nature and have been assigned to a vertical channel. The Solution Specialist will also be responsible to collaborate with internal Q2 teams to obtain and/or gather the knowledge that establishes them as the subject matter expert (SME) when working with working with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with managing director to achieve assigned sales and revenue goals
Analyze the current and past sales, revenues, and product/solution opportunities to provide recommendations for business growth and sales
Research the existing client base to identifying new solution opportunities and increase sales
Respond to the Relationship Manager, Client Experience Manager and client queries regarding the products, solutions, and services in a timely fashion
Develop, implement and measure business proposals, campaigns (both sales and awareness) for existing Q2 Relationship Managers, Client Experience Managers and Clients
Develop creative strategies to increase sales to existing Q2 clients including interviewing Relationship Managers, Client Experience Managers and clients to obtain their feedback and incorporate it into a growth plan
Prepare, maintain and track an annual sales quota (with quarterly sales goals) for the vertical channel sales metrics assigned against the budget
Develop in-depth knowledge about vertical channel solutions (SME) business development practices, marketing activities, clients, and industry trends and demonstrate all solutions assigned
Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, opportunities, and presentations
Develop strong Relationship Manager, Client Experience Manager and Client relationships to generate sales
Manage client calls and appointments effectively for new sales opportunities
Define, determine, and implement cross-sales opportunities amongst the different Relationship Manager portfolios
Manage and report the assigned vertical channel for Relationship Management sales pipeline opportunities for sales
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
7+ years of Business to Business or Business to Consumer relationship management experiences
Minimum 5 years in selling experience to managed relationships accounts.
Banking and/or Lending software experience required.
Proven ability to build decision maker skills and experience maneuvering within matrix structured environments. Proven sales results
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Tools and Salesforce
