Responsibilities
The Sr. Director, Product role is responsible for product strategy, planning and execution of Ascension's digital products. The Sr. Director manages the technology lifecycle of products, features and/or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review, and release. They also manage the product development process by translating user testing and feedback into feature/function requirements.
Manage a team of product managers. Hire and develop high performing talent.
Create clear, concise product briefs and PRDs supported by market research, field input, user research and product data.
Manage cross-team dynamics to ensure the entire team is successful, proactively instituting process improvements across your team, e.g., review and provide feedback on roadmaps, strategic plans and feature specs.
Practice effective internal and external communication, ensuring that priorities, high-profile metrics, and projects are well communicated and well understood.
Partner with Engineering and Design to foster empowered product delivery teams operating effectively at all levels.
Collaborate with Leadership, Marketing and other functional areas to gain new insights, unlock opportunities, and work together more effectively, with a specific focus on enabling go-to-market strategies.
Drive a culture of ongoing optimization based on insights and A/B testing. Use data and design experiments to inform recommendations and decisions.
Manage the profit, loss and budget while continuously evaluating the product portfolio and associate product lines through analytics and reporting.
Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.


Work Experience:

  • 7 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

  • Experience in Healthcare, or a Consumer focused industries
  • Master's degree OR MBA
  • Self-starter, can-do attitude, ability to multitask and prioritize complex projects
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences; proven ability to provide the voice of the customer
