Role Overview

Deliver the product strategy for the team that owns our core data platform within the Data supertribe. This is a fantastic opportunity to solve challenging problems in health data interoperability and availability that are fundamental to Babylon’s vision of accessible and affordable healthcare.

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable talking strategy with executive leadership, technology with developers, user experience with designers. You thrive in ambiguity and give shape to the company’s strategy while having a strong focus on execution.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Take full responsibility & accountability for the success of your product, to meet and exceed customer and business needs
• Lead, motivate, and inspire a cross-functional team of around 3 squads, bringing together the best of product, UX, engineering, delivery, and others to achieve our goals
• Develop an inspiring vision for your product, based on a deep understanding of the market, technology and our users, and implement a clear strategy to execute on it
• Own the product life cycle, from ideation and product market fit through to validation, build trade offs, launch, optimisation or retirement of product features or products
• Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility, ensuring your roadmap stays aligned with organization objectives
• Serve as a subject matter expert for your product, sharing your knowledge with others and using it to drive decisions in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Be willing and able to dive into the detail to get things done

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years in product management including work in data and/or AI
• Strong technical background
• Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams
• Superlative analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate requirements at different levels, including C-level
• Track record of delivery on outcome-based objectives over tight timescales
• A tenacious ability to get things done, and work effectively across multiple streams.
• A high level of emotional intelligence

• Experience with large scale data platforms
• Experience with ML and/or knowledge based AI systems
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Experience working with global, complex products
• Experience working closely with both engineering and research teams
• Extensive understanding of the health record market
• Experience with approaches for interoperability of health records
