About the Role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Sr. Risk Product Manager, who thrives at the intersection of data, product, engineering, sales, and marketing to join our eCommerce Product Team. 

The ideal candidate will have a background in eCommerce focused on account and payment risk – with a hunger to identify bad actors and developing and deploying risk systems to improve process efficiencies. You will be responsible for envisioning, building, designing, and developing our risk capabilities for eCommerce.

You will work with the best in the business. We need you to bring your creativity, imagination, drive, and energy to this high-profile position.

This is a remote position open to candidates located on the West Coast (preferred) except for the state of Colorado.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Conduct broad and comprehensive data analysis for risk objectives, industry trends, and ecosystem needs to identify and formulate a risk vision

  • Build products/policies that enable optimal user experiences that are timely and create informed decision making from a risk perspective

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the adversary landscape along with user and buyer behavior

  • Lead the ideation, technical development, launch, and ownership of innovative risk product (such as managing and creating the rule systems)

  • Serve as the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization

  • Influence critical stakeholders throughout CrowdStrike to align intent, resources, and prioritization

  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)

  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

What You’ll Need 

  • Solid track record of achieving and exceeding goals in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly proficient with Excel such as creating pivot tables and conducting statistical analysis 

  • 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with cross-functional team members such as technical product management, engineering, design, sales, and salesforce teams.

  • 8+ years of experience with risk systems i.e., building rules, implementation, process flows, and optimization. 

  • 8+ years of experience with Splunk 

  • 8+ years of experience with navigating and developing reports in Salesforce. 

  • Experience in making analytical, data-driven decisions, and communicating the results of the analyses.

  • Experience thinking strategically, structurally solving risk problems, driving execution for the long term, and the ability to operate in the details of short-term projects.

  • Highly proactive, self-starter capable of effectively managing and prioritizing multiple projects.

  • Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to execute in an environment where things are not always crystal clear.

  • Fact-based problem solver with the ability to evaluate an alternative course(s) of action and make sound management decisions

  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to educate and inspire cross-functional team.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in launching risk systems from the ground focused on ecommerce 

  • Experience with Jira, Smartsheets, Wiki and other Atlassian products along with Splunk 

  • Experience with KYC and user risk (trust and safety)
