Atmosphere is the world’s first and largest free ad-supported streaming TV service for businesses offering original, owned, and operated TV channels along with Partner Channels from prominent brands. Atmosphere was incubated under Chive Media Group and spun out in 2019. By designing a streaming service focused on retail businesses, Atmosphere is meeting the needs of two underserved markets: businesses looking for free, audio-optional TV programming, and advertisers that have never been able to effectively buy media to reach an out-of-home audience on TV screens. With millions of TV customers cutting their live tv subscriptions, both cable and streaming, Atmosphere allows TV advertisers to reach an unreachable audience.

THE ROLE

As a product manager for our content platform team, you’ll be responsible for building and supporting the tools used by our content teams to bring the most exciting entertainment to life, in real time! You’ll work closely with our product, design, engineering, and content teams, to help us optimize our existing products - like 24/7 news, sports, and entertainment channels -  as well as bring new products - like dynamic content generation - to life. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and collaborator, someone who is comfortable using data to make informed decisions and passionate about building roadmaps that unlock the most awesomeness for our users!

• You are experienced. You’ve built engaging consumer products at scale. You’re an experienced product manager likely with 5 years of experience working alongside highly effective product teams.

• You are a strong product thinker. You’re able to think deeply about user needs -- both functional and emotional -- and have good intuition about what makes a great product. 

• You love to move quickly and build a culture of shipping. You’re great at sequencing product work to ensure we ship impactful products quickly. You set aggressive goals and timelines and hit them. When you’re involved, product teams move significantly more quickly.

• You are biased towards action. You favor practical choices, speed and a respect for sequencing. You focus on the things that matter and push back on things that don’t. You make deadlines for yourself and you move fast.
