Ascension is hiring a Sr. Specialist - Product Owner! This individual needs to have clinical domain experience. This is a full time remote position.
What You Will Do
The Product Owner is responsible for the vision, priorities and roadmap for strategic initiatives for Google Cloud Platform.

• Must have clinical data experience.
• Managing the continued development and implementation of data acquisition and ingestion Projects.
• Supporting policies, procedures and standards for integration, maintenance, governance and dissemination as well as enforcement of security and privacy requirements.
• Working in an agile environment practicing agile Scrum and Kanban practices, partnering closely with the Health Information Layer product owner Agile Project Manager to use a high level of knowledge and experience blending traditional Project management principles and practices with an agile development approach to the right proportions working in both Kanban and/or Scrum agile methodology
• Defining project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
• Organizing and lead project status and working meetings
• Prepairing and distributing progress reports, manage risks and issues, correct deviations and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
• Assisting in team development and hold team members accountable for commitments, remove roadblocks/impediments
• Mentoring and/or coaching team members
• Supporting the Product Owner in managing expectations and priorities of the project deliverables.
• Supporting the Product Owner in stakeholder communication and helping implement and effective system of project governance and structure
• Able to implement and manage agile project management.

What You Will Need
Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience required.
• 4 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
