About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated VP of Product in Austin to organize and own product development, translating ideas into strategies and features. Your duties will include: building product roadmaps consistent with company vision, collaborating with Engineering and C-Suite on product direction and strategies, and representing the customer by considering the complete product experience and asking the hard questions.

Candidates should be comfortable managing product lifecycle, interfacing with customers to retrieve and analyze feedback, and presenting roadmaps to Senior Executives.

Job Requirements

10+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably working with SaaS technology products.
Able to collaboratively formulate and implement product strategy.
Experience working with Fintech products.
Skilled at working with cross functional groups and teams.
Demonstrated ability to extract actionable insights from data

What You Will Do

Develop and execute a product roadmap
Prioritize technical features in regards to the company's short-term and long-term goals.
Partner with Engineering and Executive teams to drive the product vision
Engender a culture of documentation, collaboration, and best practices.
Consult on efforts regarding features requests, feedback, and future product development for the business.

Richard’s team works toward eliminating real estate wire fraud. To accomplish that lofty goal, they might develop a new feature to simplify the user experience or delve into technical aspects of network security to maintain company security standards. “There’s an energy and exchange of ideas that I haven’t felt anywhere else,” Richard said. “Engineers connect with all areas of the business. They develop an understanding of how a business grows and the best ways to contribute to that growth as an engineer, besides lines of code written.”

I wear many hats, but the one I'm most proud of is building an engineering team focused on personal growth, good code, and an empowering environment.
