Core responsibilities:

• Own the product strategy and the product roadmap
• Execute the product vision using rapid innovation iteration and customer feedback loops
• Recruit, develop, and retain the product team as we grow and scale
• Balance and prioritize long-term core differentiation with short-term customer needs
• Distill feature priorities into well-defined user stories that the development team can consume
• Provide guidance to engineering during sprint cycles
• Provide guidance to design in creating delightful user experiences
• Provide guidance to marketing on product messaging, positioning, and branding

Accountable for:

• Bringing our first product to market and establishing us as the leader within an emerging product category
• Executing against the product vision and ensuring the development team is working on the right things at the right time
• Expanding and developing the product team while maintaining a product culture that is consistent with our core values

Starting with:

• A seasoned Executive team that has created a profitable company with a $20M run rate
• A seasoned VP Engineering with an experienced software development team
• Multiple closed beta customers with hundreds of thousands in ARR
• $10M in series A funding

Required qualifications:

• Product management experience that includes early-stage product launches
• Demonstrated success going-to-market and scaling world-class products
• Prior experience in high growth, venture-funded tech startup
• Experience with B2B SaaS go-to-market and freemium strategies
• People management and cross-functional experience

Desired qualifications:

• Product experience within cybersecurity 
• Product experience where the developer is your champion user
• Experience with agile/scrum development
• Experience with modern tech stacks, design patterns, and development practices
• Prior development experience a plus
• Experience with Git, JIRA, and Confluence a plus
• BS in business, marketing, computer science, or computer engineering
