We are seeking an innovative, mission-driven Vice President of Product Management to scale our industry leading suite of cloud-based products. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the business strategy, product roadmap and product requirements across our portfolio. You will create and manage a dynamic, collaborative organization that translates ESO’s mission and vision into an innovative, industry-leading product ecosystem.

 

It is a rewarding and challenging time to join ESO, was we transition firmly into a scale-up business with a combination of established products and newly acquired applications. You will be responsible for integrating the overall product suite so our customers have a seamless experience that maximizes benefits of software interoperability. You will assist in evaluating M&A targets for technical quality and potential to integrate into the suite. 

 

Most importantly, the right candidate for this role will attract, mentor and inspire a product team that will evaluate and plan the roadmap, develop requirements and launch the products and services that create a compelling experience for our customers. You will need to play the role of strategist, coach, evangelist and leader. 

 

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer you will be part of our Product Strategy team based in Austin, Texas office.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing - the day to day

 

· Develop and champion a compelling product vision, strategy and roadmap in support of ESO’s goals and objectives

· Understand customer and market needs, analyze market offerings and competitor capabilities.

· Define, articulate, and manage product requirements through a cross-functional team, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders

· Use product management methodology including short-term and long-term prioritization to drive a comprehensive roadmap

· Rapidly iterate and evolve the product to meet the needs of a hyper-growth company, while creating scalable solutions, incorporating innovation and anticipating future customer needs

· Analyze product lifecycle and development plans for new product introduction, growth, maturity, and decline

· Drive the Product playbook and embrace accountability for crisp requirements, on-time delivery and overall product success

· Partner with engineering and the Research and Performance Improvement team for an ongoing approach to data management and reporting to support the mission.

· Lead a “whole product” approach to data inflow, outflows and tooling to support scalability of customer onboarding and product usage

· Lead the transition of acquired products into a synthesized portfolio that enables customer conversion to go-forward products

· Be accountable for the delivery of the product from requirement to usage and in-life management

· Develop a strong relationship between product and engineering teams and other cross functional team in a global environment

· Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product management team

· Participate in the Senior Leadership team and help provide guidance to the company as a whole

 

 

Who You Are - the essentials

 

· 8+ years in product management leadership roles, ideally with SaaS solutions in high-growth environments

· A unique blend of business and technical savvy with a focus on delivering amazing customer experiences

· Ability to build big-picture vision and the operational drive to make that vision a reality

· Management skills for a highly complex product portfolio that spans multiple inter-rated verticals

· Demonstrated ability to effectively build high-performing teams and attract and retain top product talent

· Strategic planning and operational execution skills

· Management of a product playbook around multiple acquired products to enable customer migration onto go-forward products

· Experience in agile product planning and development methodologies

· Demonstrate introduction of new, innovative products to market

· Ability to delegate and manage competing deadlines efficiently

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

· Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology-related field preferred

· Experience in Healthcare / Public Safety sectors

· Experience leading product teams that are global dispersed

· Experience with Program Increments for Agile planning

Disability insurance
ESO provides STD to all employees at no cost. This benefit covers up to 60% of an employee's weekly Salary if out on leave. Employees can also enroll in LTD voluntarily.
