The Role
Overhaul is looking for a VP of Product with strong SaaS experience who will lead product business planning, product life-cycle management, and product plan execution for our world class supply chain integrity solution.
The VP of Product should be a strategic leader and visionary, as well as a passionate advocate for our products. The primary goal of the VP of Product is to lead and facilitate the creation of products that deliver value to both customers and the business. The VP of Product directs the organization's product vision, product strategy, product design, and product development. This individual is responsible for initiatives across the entire product lifecycle from customer discovery and user research to development and delivery. Successful candidates will be strategic, entrepreneurial in spirit, hands-on, research-savvy and analytically driven, with proven experience operating in a software business.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Work in close collaboration with senior management to lead and focus the product strategy and vision, bringing them to life via product roadmaps and fostering their successful development across the product life cycle
- Own and drive continuous progress on Overhaul products using Agile methodologies
- Facilitate communication across the company (between engineers, designers, marketers, customer-facing teams, etc.) and prevent organizational silos
- Guide and foster high engagement levels with global product leads who are responsible for executing the product vision
- Lead the process and review of product requirement systems
- Take ownership for the “why” of the products and what to build next and align the company around the overarching vision
- Ensure that individual features and products are in line with business objectives and make adjustments when necessary
- Understand the problems, needs, and desires of customers
- Direct the customer discovery (along with other members of the product team) to build excellent product experiences, identify proper positioning in the market (in collaboration with product marketing), and clearly communicate and support technical teams to foster successful execution
- Recommend and drive objective, data-driven decisions
- Define the metrics related to product performance and track them on an ongoing basis
- Interview, recruit, structure, and lead product management team members
- Ensure interlock with Engineering, Integrations, Sales and Marketing, and Operations teams to craft and pitch world class products and features that delight our customers
About you:
- BA in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Marketing, or equivalent business experience
- 10+ years of experience in Technical or related field with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Management Lead
- Proven leadership and influence skills
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Analytical mindset, make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to succeed in a collaborative, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
