AffiniPay is hiring an Affinity Programs Coordinator. This role will help to facilitate the growth of the affinity channel through marketing and relationship management. Additionally, the Affinity Programs Coordinator will assist in bringing on associations to the affinity program platform. This role is a fit for you if you have experience managing the entire lifecycle of a B2B relationship, including the prospecting, onboarding, retention, and growth strategy of affinity programs. You will help drive the most successful sales channel for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential new affinity programs across multiple verticals
- Create/revise partnership agreements based on mutual goals
- Shepherd the partner through the entire implementation process
- Collaborate closely with Affinity Programs Director to ensure successful launch and ongoing integrated marketing strategy is in place, based on your knowledge of the client’s business goals and the agreement
- Perform quarterly account reviews with existing programs to understand the specific opportunity/benefit for each and implement a plan to optimize those opportunities
- Success in this role includes onboarding new programs and ensuring that they help drive our growth goals
- Foster strong relationships with the key players and decision makers within the affinity program
- Conduct face to face and remote meetings to support business planning, product planning, and strategic alignment at our home office, partner’s location, and industry events
- Work collaboratively with internal product, marketing, support, and sales teams
- Build customer trust and deliver high quality customer service
- Bring innovative ideas and constantly experiment
Requirements:
- Strong experience working with associations and/or affinity programs
- The ability to create and execute to a business plan based on two companies’ resources and goals
- Experience and comfort pitching and negotiating with executive level stakeholders
- Experience managing a deal from pitch to agreement, into adoption and throughout growth
- 2-5 years work experience, predominantly in the association space or similar account management role
- Must care about people and want to work to ensure the success of your accounts
- Self-starter who enjoys winning as a team
- Ability to prioritize to meet time-sensitive deadlines consistently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
