We are hiring an Associate to join the Special Projects team to identify, capture or resolve high value opportunities and problems facing Rex.  You will work alongside senior leadership within Rex, gaining exposure to many parts of our organization. Project team members need high aptitude for strategically identifying problems and opportunities; you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to tackle the issues at hand. With raw talent, street smarts, systematic thinking, and the hustle of a true builder - you will find a way or make one. 

What you’ll do:

  • Track and execute directives on behalf of senior leaders
  • Take notes, capturing and tracking action items.  Ensure meetings are productive and end with accountability clearly understood
  • Analyze investment strategies + opportunities, execute when necessary
  • Cross functional "deep dives" into capabilities, identifying and then executing improvements

Location

We are located near Pennybacker Bridge on 360 overlooking the Colorado River and Austin Country Club. Our office has great views of the Westlake area with a decent number of restaurants within a 10 minute drive.
