The Change Lead will be responsible for providing change management expertise at Whole Foods Market (WFM) to Team Member Services (HR) on initiatives. The Change Lead will be embedded in the TMS Program Management Office (PMO) and will work closely with the Change Enablement team on delivering Change management, leveraging, and complimenting their tools and methodologies already in place.

Together with TMS PMO and Change Enablement, they will maximize team member adoption and minimize resistance. The role will support project teams in integrating change management activities into their plans and apply an ADKAR methodology while leading change management activities with the Change Enablement Function.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the complete value chain of Organizational Change Management deliverables including the Case for Change, Change Management Approach, Stakeholder Engagement, Change Impact Assessment, Communication Approach, Change Champion Network, Training Approach and Sustainability Approach
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to support adoption of the changes required by a program or initiative
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
  • Lead the design, development, delivery, and management of program change communications
  • Establish a change champion or change advocate network
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Define measures of success / KPIs to ensure the program change is sustainable
  • Identify resistance and/or performance gaps, and work to develop and implement responsive actions
  • Participate in various meetings with workstream leads to ensure change risks are documented and considered throughout the overall program plan
  • Prepare and provide updates on the change management workstream
  • Maintain detailed plans for each change program or initiative
  • Participate and lead post-integration evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and advancement of change maturity
  • Conduct change impact assessments on proposed initiatives within the business-as-usual governance framework intake process

Skills:

  • Understands and able to apply standard ADKAR methodology and tools
  • Strong understanding of change management planning, communications, training, and execution strategy
  • Ability to build and drive a portfolio of change initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives
  • Self-motivated with strong social skills who brings energy and passion to the team
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening
  • Tailors communication approach to specific situations and audiences
  • Supports team and cross-functional projects within defined area of responsibility
  • Maintains positive working relationships with supported functional stakeholders
  • Ability to envision the "big picture" while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Proven track record of operating in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated PowerPoint / graphic design skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in Change Management program design and implementation
  • Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of organizational change management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to work in a team and independently to deliver results in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • A great ability to influence stakeholders through written and verbal communications
  • Prosci certification and or training preferred
