  • SailPoint is seeking an experienced project manager with demonstrated competence and thought leadership capability to contribute toward the success of SailPoint’s security initiatives.

     

    This is an internal project management role on SailPoint’s cybersecurity team that will focus on supporting compliance, metrics, and training and awareness initiatives. You will be interacting with internal customers from multiple departments within the company and as well as vendors and consultants.   

     

    The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to react quickly to situations while balancing project deliverables and objectives.  Someone with a balanced approach to project management who also has strong technical skills, natural consensus building ability, and a detailed logistical capability would be the ideal candidate.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead complex cross-functional and cross-organizational cybersecurity-related projects of diverse scope throughout the complete lifecycle, delivering results on time and on budget.
    • Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all compliance requirements are completed on time (ISO, SOC and FedRAMP).
    • Manage security program metrics.
    • Help coordinate security training and awareness activities.
    • Organize project teams to drive results and overcome challenges.
    • Report and carefully track project status, metrics, roadblocks and alert key stakeholders to risks.
    • Report and escalate to management issues that jeopardize projects.
    • Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvements via post project reviews and root cause analysis.
    • Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
    • Act as a trusted resource to ensure that security objectives are met.
    • Work with procurement to support the security team’s software and professional services needs.
    • Interact with all levels of company employees including senior management.

     

     

    Requirements/Skills:

     

    You truly enjoy leading project teams, working with technology, and solving business problems in innovative ways. You are a self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and deliver consistent results. You are an integral consensus builder of various stakeholders at different levels of the organization, diplomatic, with excellent communication skills, and timely in conveying deliverables and risks.

     

    • 3-5 years minimum of program management or project management in an enterprise-level environment.
    • Complete understanding and application of project management principles, concepts, practices, and standards.  Full knowledge of industry PM best practices.
    • Analytical with key strength in providing metric-driven reports.
    • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    • Proven ability to develop requirements, document business processes and workflows, and prioritize stakeholder needs against overall program goals.
    • Ability to lead and influence a project team that does not directly report to you.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both oral and written. 
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Dedication to customer service.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
    • Ideal candidate will have experience with FedRAMP requirements as well as ISO27001 and SOC controls.
    • Experience in cybersecurity a plus. 

     

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or other relevant field and 3-5 years of related work experience. 
    • Preferred certifications: PMP or other relevant certifications.
    • Ideal candidate will have experience with FedRAMP requirements as well as ISO27001 and SOC controls.
    • Experience in cybersecurity a plus.
