Delivery Manager at Q2
Q2 Premier Services is seeking a Delivery Manager to manage a Service Delivery team focused on the successful development, configuration, and deployment of electronic banking software for banks and credit unions. This individual will be focused on quality, efficiency, and consistent deployment of the software with an eye toward process improvement, team leadership, and individual mentorship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage a service delivery group to deliver quality software deployments
Hire and build high-performance teams that meet and exceed baseline expectations
Develop and hold the team accountable for quality assurance checkpoints to ensure quality and timely delivery
Monitor and impact key metrics and efficiencies
Develop a team that creates and adheres to Q2’s best practices
Evaluate and introduce constant improvements to the configuration and implementation processes
Work closely with the Delivery Managers and Program Managers to provide technical support and resources for projects
Work closely with Product, Development, and the IT/Data Center Operations teams to troubleshoot product and networking issues.
Engage the stakeholders within Q2 to ensure team goals are met
Analyze program metrics and align initiatives with department direction (analyze program metrics and align initiatives with business direction)
Responsible for ensuring all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience.
Typically requires 1-2 years managing and developing employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing online banking deployment software)
Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMI or Scrum)
Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience growing and mentoring teams
Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with peer managers as well as senior management
The ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
Experience building, growing, motivating, and mentoring high-performance teams
Articulate, thorough, and process-minded
Configuration and deployment experience within a multi-tiered environment
Travel up to 30% for clients or partners when necessary
Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
Experience leading agile teams preferred
