Q2 is seeking a Director, Delivery Management to manage an Implementations Delivery team focused on the successful configuration and deployment of Electronic Banking software for banks and credit unions. This individual will be focused on quality, efficiency, and consistent configuration of the software with an eye toward process improvement, team leadership, and individual mentorship. This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage an Implementation Delivery Team to configure and deliver quality software deployments for our clients
- Hire and build high-performance teams that meet and exceed baseline expectations
- Develop and hold the team accountable for quality assurance checkpoints to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Monitor and impact key metrics and efficiencies
- Develop a team that creates and adheres to Q2's best practices
- Evaluate and introduce constant improvements to the configuration and implementation processes
- Work closely with the Delivery Managers and Project Managers to provide technical support and resources for projects
- Work closely with Product, Development and the IT/Data Center Operations teams to troubleshoot product and networking issues.
- Engage the stakeholders within Q2 to ensure team goals are met
- Analyze project metrics and align initiatives with department direction
- Responsible for ensuring all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Typically requires 8-10 years of previous work experience in a similar management role
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Agile delivery experience required
- Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience growing and mentoring teams
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with peer managers as well as senior management
- The ability to remain calm, diplomatic and cooperative under stressful conditions
- Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
- Experience building, growing, motivating and mentoring high-performance teams
- Articulate, thorough, and process-minded
- Configuration and deployment experience within a multi-tiered environment
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed (up to 40% travel)
- Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred
