Engineering Program Manager - IoT - US East Coast & UK (Remote)
About the Role:
The Crowdstrike Program Management team is seeking a Program Management Lead to help deliver IoT Security projects and programs.This role will drive software project management processes and execution models for our IoT Product Portfolio with a primary focus on cybersecurity for IoT.
As a Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Internet of Things (IoT) Product Group, whose mission is to extend the platform functionality and data for protecting systems across various IOT verticals like allowing us to evolve into a platform business model and ensure the continuous evolution of our world-class Falcon product. Your primary focus will entail driving the scheduling, scoping and execution of projects for the Product Group, working directly with the Engineering Developers, the Product Managers, and the Dev Managers in order to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap. You’ll work closely across functional teams (UX, Cloud, Sensor) to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.

Responsibilities:
Own the process aspects for project execution for the product group, including defining and driving variations as needed.
Providing coaching/mentoring to the team in a highly collaborative and empathetic environment.
Demonstrates the ability to discuss tasks with employees in a manner which gives guidance and best practices, but does not dictate implementation.
Demonstrates the ability to learn and communicate technical context and align it with business objectives to help drive project deliverables, resources, and timelines.
Creating and driving the project schedule, working with dev management task assignments, and managing schedule progress; from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies.
Collaborating with staff and management of multiple worldwide business units (including subject matter experts, design teams, and technology teams) to clearly identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals, expectations, and tasks.
Tracks the status of project activities and ensures that schedules and priorities are being met.
Ensures critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated if necessary.
Manages daily/weekly project communication and status reporting.
Leads Scrum meetings and creates and follows up on meeting minutes/action items.
Must be capable of both giving and receiving honest, empathetic, and direct feedback.
Provide program management leadership by working with product managers and engineering teams as well as cross-functional teams to create and manage full IoT software portfolio.
Leverages deep technology, process and IoT domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within IoT Security product portfolio collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams.Flexibly working across timezones to help coordinate and follow up on work (from India, Israel to the United States (EST-PST)).
Experience working with external partners.
What You'll Need:
Must be proficient in the use of Jira (query/ticket creation, board creation and facilitation)
5+ years of experience working in a program/project management capacity for software development.
Candidates with knowledge of what it takes to operate and maintain IoT security solutions at enterprise scale with partners is preferred.
Experience with/exposure to large scale platforms (cloud technologies), complex inter-dependent technologies.
Seasoned team coach that manages and alleviates (instead of running from) persistent obstacles
Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology a plus.
Experience owning a program/ portfolio of multiple products/features, scoping requirements, planning milestones, and being an active resource for technical teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Must enjoy consensus-driven environments where collaboration, honest and open communications are paramount.
Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
