SCOPE OF ROLE

The Implementation Project Manager, Clinical is responsible for building a strong clinical foundation for Bright Health’s relationship(s) with Care Partner(s) by leading the launch of new market implementations from the clinical perspective. The goal of Clinical Implementation is to integrate with each Care Partner’s clinical capabilities to best serve Bright Health members, while minimizing disruption to health system. The Implementation Project Manager must have deep knowledge of health system clinical processes, have effective program and project management skills to oversee the end-to-end implementation, and have strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully manage both internal and external partnerships.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Project Manager, Clinical description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.

  • Serve as the first client-facing project lead, responsible for maintaining the implementation project plan for the client (Care Partners), support program clinical implementations, and establish a strong foundation for a relationship with Bright Health’s clinical partners by representing Bright Health with the highest level of service and delivery
  • Lead the development of detailed clinical processes (Joint Clinical Operating Model) for new market and mid-year launches (Care Partner)
  • Support on-site or virtual assessment of a Care Partner’s clinical and programmatic capabilities
  • Act as content expert/lead stakeholder to communicate the development and documentation of clinical process requirements and escalations across internal, cross-functional channels
  • Build detailed project plans, status updates, workflows, dependency trackers, issues, risks and mitigation strategies to ensure implementations stay on-schedule and within the scope of clinical implementation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Five or more (5+) years of project management experience, ideally in a clinical or payer setting
  • Experience with clinical programs, advanced practices, and/or integrated delivery networks a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project).

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong project management skills, proven ability to facilitate large, multidisciplinary teams, and establish workflows from the ground up.
  • Takes initiative, effects change, and influences team members to drive progress
  • Ability to convey status in both written and verbal communication and tailor communication according to audience
  • Deliver executive presentations to internal and external stakeholders communicating status, issues, risks, and mitigation recommendations

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Travel up to 15% may be required.
