M&A HR Project Manager

Lead People function activities related to M&A diligence, integration, acquisitions by establishing frameworks and delivery of key performance indicators based on the goals of our acquisition integration projects. Partner with M&A deal team and provide strategic direction on all people related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage all people-related activities associated with M&A strategy
- Act a liaison between M&A deal team and people team to ensure all necessary actions at every level of the employee journey are addressed
- Review and evaluate target companies on all People related matters
- Review all People related documents (for example, employment agreements, contracts, People services and technology contracts, policies)
- Determine Cart.com strategy for talent and retention for the acquired company.
- Review purchase agreements and disclosure schedules
- Ensure completion of pre-employment screenings, hiring process including from offer to onboarding (inclusive of immigration/visa sponsorship); and partnering with cross-functional specialist teams on aspects including levelling, total rewards, organization design, internal/external communication to create an action plan
- Oversee the integration project roadmap and processes post-acquisition for a smooth transition into the Cart.com family
- Develop M&A strategy and integration playbook
Qualifications:
- Strong operations and project management skills
- Proven experience in M&A HR strategy and execution
- Analytical and strategic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
