Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in enterprise technology sales, pre-Sales, sales operations, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in acquisition integration for a technology company.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, including executives, as a trusted advisor providing integration strategy guidance.
  • Program management experience with global, cross-functional teams and ability to develop and execute an integration plan.

You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google Cloud program overall is kept on the cutting edge.

As part of the Google Cloud Go-to-Market team, you will work closely and collaboratively with the Google Corporate Development team and other Google Cloud functions coordinating integration of acquired teams and products to drive strategic growth for Google Cloud. You are a highly skilled communicator who asks thoughtful questions and is capable of thinking through integration strategies, cost/benefit trade-offs, risk mitigation, strategic alignment, and the tactical execution management. You will be part of a team responsible for the Go-to-Market aspects of M&A projects within Google Cloud. The GTM M&A team supports due diligence, integration planning, and integration execution across GTM  functions including Sales, Sales Ops, Support, Professional Services, Marketing, Enablement, Commercial Operations, and Business Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support post-close buildout of integration plans defined prior to acquisition close, working with Corporate Development, executive agreement sponsors from Product and Engineering, and cross-functional integration leads from Google Cloud business functions.
  • Coordinate post-close execution of integration plans, determine risks, mitigation plans, and optimal execution path for post-close integration.
  • Identify the need for, drive design and coordinate implementation of, cross-functional  “bridging solutions” that solve for gaps in interim processes for acquired companies prior to full integration into Google Cloud. 
  • Oversee a complex set of communication channels associated with projects. Manage report-out deliverables for stakeholders including Google Cloud leadership to ensure integration plans are communicated appropriately at key milestones.
