DISCO is seeking an Operations Program/Project Manager to help scale our organizational alignment, operational effectiveness, and functional excellence as we continue to grow. 

Your Impact

The Operations Program/Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver enterprise project(s) that span across one or more departments. You will manage prioritization, resources, schedules, financials and adhere to project management principles to deliver successful projects. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Program Manager will also contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery and provide executive visibility to enterprise projects and prioritization.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple departments
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Report on project success criteria results and metrics
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Provide leadership for project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional operational projects 
  • Experienced in project management Methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business functions
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning operational projects
  • 3+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Experienced in a CRM tool such as Salesforce
  • Proficiency with one or more project management solutions (Jira, MS Project etc.)
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
