Program and Partnerships Manager, Online Safety

The Online Safety, Security Team within Facebook Information Security analyzes current trends in user safety, investigates cases, and develops solutions to mitigate future risk. The team is looking for a team member who has experience running programs and managing partnerships. Our ideal candidate excels at working with non-profits, developing and strengthening relationships, has a passion for working on solutions that support victims of abuse, prevent future abuse, and creative problem solving. Also, this person must be able to translate complex concepts into language that is meaningful to many audiences. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with Operations, Engineering, Policy, Communications, and External organizations. The position will be based in Austin or Menlo Park.
Responsibilities
Maintain direct and active relationships with existing partners, including proactively resolving issues, gaining a deep understanding for partner's business needs, and serving as an internal advocate
Vet and seek out opportunities to take part in external organization and industry initiatives and make recommendations to the team
Represent the Online Safety team in a variety of public settings
Learn how the Online Safety team engages partners to spread safety education through Facebook ads, Support current and future partners with campaigns
Vet future partners to co-create safety FB ad campaigns and objectives with
Work with Online Safety investigators to understand gaps in resources and education
Lead projects to fill those gaps
Drive cross-functional projects from start to finish
Create or partner to create marketing materials for Online Safety
Understand the core safety issues impacting the Facebook community
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Program Management experience
4+ years of relevant work experience including partnership management, a passion for understanding and solving for how Facebook responds to users in distress, and excellent communication skills
Collaboration and relationship-building skills
Ability to define, develop and lead programs in a changing environment
Ability to communicate Online Safety work across a variety of audiences
Knowledge about online safety and the subjects of criminology the effects of abuse on victims on the Internet. Experience in protecting people and providing resources to people who need support
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working closely with non-profits
Experience with Facebook's Ad tools
Marketing experience
