Our vision is to deliver the best healthcare experience by putting brilliant minds, empathetic hearts and personalized technology to work to create meaningful relationships between our members and Care Partners. To successfully achieve our mission and vision as we operate in a dynamic health care environment, we expect Bright People to embody and uphold our core values in work and interactions, both internal and external: Be Purposeful, Be Authentic, Be Brave, Be Positive, Be Respectful, and Be Accountable.

The Program Director, IT M&A Integration will be working closely with the Information Technology team and a broad stakeholder group, including leaders across many business functions, to actively develop, execute, and lead the integration plans for multiple acquisitions. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in coordinating the work and executing the integration plan across multiple work streams involving infrastructure, data, business, health plan, and clinical applications.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architecting success by blueprinting executable integration plans, continuously providing a focus on achieving the business case, and searching for and highlighting best practices or potential disconnects that could destroy value or create risk.
  • Develop program management deliverables (detailed project schedule, budget, etc.) and processes (risk, quality, and scope management). Advancing IT capabilities through modernization, innovation, and cloud-smart application migration
  • Define program level resource plans and effectively on-boarding resources to the program
  • Inspiring success in achieving a diverse set of integration goals on predetermined timelines by empowering others while asserting themselves in their leadership role; and exercising the tenacity to provide a clear pathway while continuing to motivate teams to work hard.
  • Accelerating the process by helping the executive staff manage the pace and momentum of the integration and pushing for timely decisions on key issues and providing true accountability for action items and deadlines.
  • Driving change by being directly and principally involved in the subject matter of major issues so that this role helps manage the “white space” and dependencies by identifying problems, and then coordinating and communicating resolutions to all involved. Proactively embracing change to get things done more efficiently where legacy processes impede progress and provide the energy to make the changes happen.
  • Managing project interdependencies and assessing implications for program based on the consideration of other projects
  • Support operations readiness reviews for going live with applications running in the cloud

  • 5+ years of experience in M&A activities
  • 4+ years of experience in leading large-scale integration implementations
  • 10+ years of experience in Information technology project management in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in project management in large scale projects in various hands-on roles
  • Experience with managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle
  • Bachelor’s Degree. Additional external qualifications an advantage. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industries
  • Public cloud experience, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies; to include managing execution, backlogs, retrospectives, grooming, etc.
  • Experience with cost modeling, program cost forecasting & variance management
  • Ability to develop new processes and approaches for cloud migrations and support identification of new cloud service patterns needed to support migrations
  • PMP certification preferred
  • ITIL v3 foundational knowledge a must
