Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program definition and management with a focus on audit compliance or cloud compliance.
  • Experience with global cloud regulatory compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices such as: SOC 2/3, ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR, and regulations governing personally identifiable information.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Relevant professional certifications including CPA, CA, CISSP, CISA, GIAC, PMP or related international or information security certifications.
  • Experience managing projects using software development life-cycles and methodology.
  • Experience with common controls frameworks.
  • Experience with risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management programs, or software, systems and solutions development and delivery.

On the Cloud Operations team you’ll help the rapidly growing Cloud business solve complex privacy, security, and user trust challenges by working with product engineering, marketing, legal, and operations groups. As part of this team, you will collaborate on identifying pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions to develop efficient compliance process systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple privacy/security/compliance programs. Define project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and advise on IT and business-related compliance risks and controls continuously. Influence stakeholders to close gaps in control frameworks.
  • Define, plan, and launch processes which empower our support organization to help customers securely and safely.
  • Directly assist when Google Cloud Customers require audits or request more information about support compliance.
