The mission of the Facebook Risk and Payments team is to enable anyone, anywhere, to be able to pay and be paid with confidence. This can mean different things across our many payments products - from providing support to advertisers who need help paying their bill, helping charities onboard to receive donations, to identifying and resolving fraudulent transactions.
Within the Risk and Payments team, our Risk Product Strategy team is responsible for defining and executing a risk strategy for both new and mature products leveraging payments at Facebook. We partner with multiple teams including Product Management and Engineering to ensure products and features launch safely and successfully. Risk Product Strategy facilitates product vision through ensuring products are built to scale with Risk in mind.
We are looking for a Program Manager to drive tactical and strategic initiatives while taking full ownership of specific program and product lines. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems in adversarial integrity spaces.


Program Manager, Risk Product Strategy Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in core risk infrastructure, tools, systems, and data

  • Collaborate with our Risk Operations Teams in understanding the impact of Risk strategy on broader operations and support requirements that allow products to scale

  • Manage complex projects and align risk strategy across numerous operations stakeholders

  • Communicate effectively with key cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Product Management and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product life cycle

  • Facilitate external vendor analysis reviews to drive integrations with our internal systems

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 4+ years project or program management experience

    • 3+ years of work experience in business strategy or consulting

    • Experience thinking analytically and critically

    • Experience navigating ambiguity and formulating structured solutions

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics or equivalent practical experience

      • Experience working in the risk or payments space
