Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of IT service management, technical business relationship management and/or service delivery management experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • 5 years of practical experience with an international organization.
  • 5 years of technology service management and/or service delivery experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • PhD degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
  • Experience hiring and leading teams, including distributed teams and vendors.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.

About the job

The Business Operations and Strategy Team (BOPs) is responsible for the physical and virtual supply chains for products across hardware assets, software, accessories, AV spaces and meeting rooms.

As a Service Relationship Program Manager within Business Operations, you will play a role in driving the strategic direction of key domain level technology services. You will have significant involvement in the strategic planning and efficient execution of services within Google’s global AV landscape.

The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "BizOps", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain partnerships with key service domains to ensure they derive full value from BOPs provided services.
  • Establish an understanding of the domains' objectives and align partner services to achieve key results.
  • Coordinate and engage Business Owner Policy teams with the service domain for service design, enablement, implementation, and support.
  • Develop master service agreement terms and provide contract interpretation.
  • Develop and analyze metrics, key performance indicators, and reports to monitor service performance and identify improvements.
