Our Programming team is looking for a creative, adaptable, ambitious Program Scheduling Manager to maintain our program planning and scheduling in accordance with our company’s overall strategy. The role will manage the scheduling of all programming on our subscription service, multiple free-to-watch platforms including YouTube, and several linear channels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about and familiar with Rooster Teeth content, have experience adapting to data insights in real time, have excellent communication skills, and will be a constant source of creative ideas for fun programming events that drive awareness and engagement within the Rooster Teeth community.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cross-platform channel schedules using a variety of software tools, with a focus on viewership, content utilization, viewer appeal and consumer viewing habits
  • Plan and execute creative, cross-platform stunting opportunities with Rooster Teeth’s content library, working closely with marketing and production.
  • Work with Programming and Marketing departments to ensure channel schedules reflect priorities of broader company goals
  • Understand and follow any contractual and department guidelines as it relates to product utility and monthly channel structures
  • Seek and be aware of research as it relates to product, audience, industry trends and competition
  • Monitor, analyze, and apply data and other research to maximize viewership for all channels
  • Oversee communication of schedule and any changes to content operations, marketing, and production teams.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a digital or television station or network and/or training
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Rooster Teeth content library
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and a proven interest in keeping up to date with developments in web platforms and applications
  • Native YouTube and Twitch user, interest in newer or emerging platforms
  • Familiarity with data analytics and audience trends, and how to turn insights into action
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and database software
  • Strong ability to establish priorities and work under time constraints in a fast-paced, startup environment
