What You’ll Do:

·         Simultaneously manage multiple projects, some of which may be highly visible or strategic within the company

·         Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues and sub-contractors

·         Drive customers through completion of a project that requires their accountability for tasks and deliverables

·         Manage the work of project sub-contractors, when applicable

·         Identify risk and communication risk mitigation strategies and escalate appropriately when necessary

·         Create and maintain all applicable project management documentation in SSG’s document management and CRM                     systems

·         Lead a cross-functional, geographically diverse team to drive the project to completion

·         Conduct difficult conversations with customers regarding project budgets, timelines and priorities

·         Be a valuable contributing team member regarding sharing of knowledge, ideas, resources and best practices

·         Provide mentorship to other project managers in both informal and formal arrangements as appropriate to your level of             experience

·         Lead the development of project plans and/or task breakdowns for current customers and/or RFP responses

·         Articulate the value proposition of our products and effectively communicate best practice recommendations from the               project team

·         Utilize product familiarity to identify, present and execute change request when new scope, timeline, budget, or risk                   mitigation strategies impact project deliverables

·         Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

·         PMP certification or willingness to obtain certification within first year of employment with SSG

·          2+ years of direct project management experience in any field

·          1+ year of direct project management experience with SaaS based software solution implementation

·         Experience with project teams of at least 5 members and a budget of at least $250,000 

·         Ability to use SmartSheet

·         Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)  

·         Organized and detail oriented work style

·         Strong time management skills as evidenced in the ability to manage multiple deadlines

·         Comfort and confidence with computer software/technology

Preferred Additional Experience:

·         Based in Austin Texas

·         Experience with human services/social services programs or organizations
