Bear & Giraffe is looking to hire a Project Manager/Product Manager with experience working with startups managing the product and dev teams. B&G is an Austin based web development agency and where you will get to work with different clients, helping them build their products.

About You

To be successful in this position you must have a combination of the following: a people's person, organized, have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, not afraid to take control. You will be relied on to keep the rest of the team organized and adhering to the process.

Note: If you have previous project management experience but not product experience, or vice versa, you should still apply to this job. You will be asked to fill a bit of both roles, depending on the client, but a strong proficiency of one is preferable to a limited knowledge of both.

Your Day to Day

Your daily task will include one of the following:

• Running one or many standups
• Running a sprint planning
• Running the backlog grooming
• Client meeting
• Unblocking the rest of the team
• Extracting features out of the business owners

You'll be working remotely, so if you need to take the dog out for a walk or put some laundry in the washing machine that's a great way to give your brain a break from the 1s and 0s.
